Art Song In English, Low Voice

Item number: 1707494GG, Pages: 188, Price: $24.95

This eclectic volume contains 50 songs. They are all singer-friendly and varied in style. They are all in the English language, and offer a "sampler" of American and British songs. These twentieth century pieces offer a variety of familiar repertoire, along with lesser known pieces. The composers have set their music to poetry from well-known poets, including Shakespeare, Frost, Stevenson, Cummings, and others. Although there are a few gender-specific texts, this volume is designed to be useful for all voices. The song list is the same for both High Voice and Low Voice editions.
